Your Home Altar

A home altar is a wonderful gift to your self. Its benefits are many: a focal point for the healing power of spiritual energies in your home, a center for meditation, reflection and inspiration, a place in which to ask the Divine to bless you and your loved ones. 

Keep whatever gives you spiritual uplift on your altar, family pictures, candles, crystals, Tarot cards, religious figurines and artwork. A bookshelf, nightstand, kitchen counter top or lamp table can all serve as altars. Maybe you will have an altar in every room.

If you want to keep your altar personal and private in a busy household, make a portable altar. Keep your altar objects in a container with a lid. Take them out and place them on an altar cloth when you want to experience sacred space. Pack them up when you are finished. 

Use your imagination to create sacred space in your life with your own special and unique home altar. Your altar will strengthen your connection with the Divine and give you peace and serenity as you go about your day.
