Wealth Building From The Inside Out
by Donald and Wanda
Olugbala RobinsonWhen you hear
the word wealth what comes to mind… is it lots of money, comfort,
security, a big house, Mercedes, the ability to buy whatever you want,
no bill worries?
Now what do you think of when you hear
the word worth? Do things like self esteem, pride, happiness, cherished
memories, experiences, pleasure, self determination and a great myriad
of other intangible values come to mind?
Wealth is about the accumulation of
things like money, property or other riches. Worth is about the
accumulated value of your contribution to the world, a group, a person
or for a purpose.
Wealth is material while worth is
intrinsic. Wealth is about what you have and worth is about who you are.
Worth speaks volumes on your role in society, what kind of contribution
to society you will make or have made. When you know your worth, you
recognize your wealth. Wealth is a state of mind, while worth is a state
of being, a state of consciousness.
When people talk of net worth, what
they really mean to say is net wealth. There is no such thing as net
worth, because all are worthy. In order to become wealthy, you must
learn your worth, so that you can become whole and build your wealth
from the inside out.
Internal sources of power trigger our
thoughts. When we think wealthy thoughts, we can visualize wealthy
results, thereby witnessing a transformation to wealth in our lives.
Think about it for a moment. Have you ever experienced receiving
something because you thought about it seriously for several moments,
hours, days, weeks or even months? If you have, it’s because you have
initiated the power within, the acknowledgment of your divine self, to
bring into actualization your own destiny.
Wealth works the same way. When you
purpose your goals and dreams, you actualize your own financial destiny.
If your dream is to purchase a first home, then you begin to see that
picture of yourself with your mind’s eye, sitting in your living room,
eating in your kitchen. Then you begin to maneuver your finances in a
manner that helps increase your chances of achieving your goal. You
reduce or eliminate credit card debt, you save a little more for your
down payment, you contact realtors and mortgage experts to find out what
homes and financing programs are available. Then, after all the
necessary steps, you eventually find yourself at the closing table,
ready to sign for your new home.
Your worth cannot be measured by any
physical elements; however, your wealth can specifically be summed by
adding up everything you own, then subtracting everything you owe.
Simple as that. Your wealth, by no means, equals your worth. This also
means to say, though, that your wealth can be achieved by purposing your
mind, body and spirit to a process of transformation that changes your
life path forever.
Things will not increase your worth,
but your self worth will have a direct impact on your ability to build
wealth. Recognize that the river of blessings that flow into your life
supply you with what you need at all times. This is crucial to
understanding that your wealth is increased by your faith in your worth.
Increasing your faith in your worth is accepting the inner power within
you, that which we call God, that manifests blessings through you. When
you accept your inner genius, your inner peace, your inner source, you
become empowered to make changes in your life. Those changes can take
place in the form of increasing your wealth.
Your wealth is the result of your
acknowledgment of your worth. Our source tells us that it is a good
thing to receive wealth and the good health to enjoy it. Worth is about
what value is added to your life. If you believe a product you bought
adds to your worth, then ask yourself, how much is this thing worth to
you? What is it that you treasure?
Wealth building should be based on the
premise that the outer result of wealth is a symbol of the inner growth
that nurtures the spirit, feeds the mind and body. Taking control of
your personal finances and building wealth means that you know your
worth first. Wealth is about adding the things to your life that help
express the value of your life. Wealth is also about having an abundance
to share with others so that they may recognize their worth as well.
Your Divine Self can bring any blessings you may wish. You must be aware
that you are wishing for whatever is happening to you right now. No
matter if you feel that it is helping you or hurting you. If you think
small, you get small. If you think infinite possibilities, infinite
possibilities come to you.
Acknowledge your Divine Self. This is
the key to wealth building from the inside out.
