Tribute to Marcello
Galluppi
12/8/1936 – 12/20/2005
It is with great sadness
and a profound sense of loss that I relay the passing of Marcello
Galluppi. He experienced a sudden asthma attack on 12/20/05 from which
he could not recover. He was a great astrologer, metaphysician,
entertainer and all-around unique person. He had a special ability to
combine history, astrology, astronomy, little-known facts and current
events to see things which others could not or would not.
Marcello was imported to
Michigan from New York by our famous local Financial Astrologer, Raymond
Merriman. Ray invited Marcello to present his Fantastic Space Voyage
slide show and use his special “oracle” for readings at several
conferences.
Marcello hosted a call-in
radio show, wrote for phenomeNEWS, lectured on predictions and current
events for groups such as the Rochester, MI Parents Without Partners and
was a contributing writer on
www.Moonbowmedia.com.
He was one of the most
popular guests on Robert Taylor’s Grosse Pointe cable show, Out of the
Ordinary-Into the Extraordinary. Robert considered Marcello a dear
friend and saw him as a modern-day Merlin. Robert enjoyed Marcello’s
sense of humor and honored him as a genius for his expertise in the
physical sciences as well as metaphysical. Robert pointed out that in
his Vedic astrological chart, Marcello had the South Node in the 12th
house, an indication that this was his last incarnation.
Throughout the past 30
years Marcello touched the lives of hundreds of people with his personal
consultations. He was interested in the welfare of others and was always
trying to help. The funeral-home visitation and the funeral itself on
12/26 and 12/27 were a celebration of his life and accomplishments. They
were crowded with people who loved him and had wonderful things to say
about him.
Marcello and I studied
together on a regular basis and he particularly sparked my interest in
the political and world-event branches of astrology. He predicted in
August of 2005 that by December 2005 information would come to light
which would challenge the Presidency of George Bush. Marcello, right on!
I will miss you always.
