Sometimes you will catch a program on TV
that shows the technical and computerized skills that go on behind the
scenes of movies and theatrical presentations today. These
techno-artists are experts at adding crowds of people, exotic
backgrounds and making people fly, levitate, move in slow motion and all
sorts of other things that create ooohs and ahhs. Once you see how it’s
done, although fascinating, it kind of spoils the effect.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t want
to know what is behind the magic. I love to be enchanted by the bending
of reality, even if it is an illusion. And part of the thrill is that
I’m aware that it is an illusion.
So, what is an “illusion” anyway?
Something that appears to be real and isn’t? I guess it all depends on
what your version of “real” is. To people that are tuned in, tapped in
and turned on to other realms, those other realms are what is real for
them. Many spiritual authors today write about this worldly experience
being the illusion while the spiritual realm is the true reality.
One of the hottest books out there right
now is The Disappearance of the Universe. Author Gary Renard states that
our world is a total illusion, everything, including humans are nothing
more than thoughts emanating from the mind of God.
Well, then, following along that line of
thinking, it makes perfect logic that we can take this “illusion” and
manipulate or shape it to fit what we desire. Aha! We’ve just stumbled
into the explanation for the metaphysical affirmation, “you create your
own reality!”
Now, what part of this illusion is yours?
And if you are desiring something else, knowing what you know now, why
not change it?
I think the thing that holds most of us
back, besides the obvious fears that come up, is the fact that we feel
we have to pound things into place. We think we have to be wielding the
hammers and chisels and putting huge physical effort forth in order to
create the desired outcome.
Well, we’ve been there, done that! If you
continue doing what you’ve always done, you’ll continue to get what
you’ve always gotten! In other words, if you haven’t been able to create
the world you want to live in yet, what makes you think you can do the
same stuff and all of a sudden have things work out differently?
You can create differently if you do your
homework first – if you do your envisioning, imagining and projecting –
then you are setting up the vibration that allows everything else to
follow quite naturally. This is what all the leading edge visionaries
have been teaching us for years. You have to see yourself being there
first and get into that feeling place of doing, being or having what you
want. Then, and only then, will you be in a vibrational space to attract
to you everything you are wanting.
Sounds pretty easy, huh? Well, it is!
That’s the beauty of this illusory world. We can have as much or as
little of it as we want... because it’s all an illusion!
So, the first step is easy... move your
vibration into one of joyful anticipation. When you can really feel it,
then envision as clearly as you can what it is that you desire. Then
make room because your vision will expand exponentially along with your
level of joy.
Abraham sums it up beautifully, as they
say “Get happy and stay happy.”
I’m lovin’ this illusion!
