What is consciousness? Charles Fillmore says “It’s the sum total of all ideas accumulated in and affecting our present being. It’s the composite of ideas, thoughts, emotions, sensation and knowledge that makes up the conscious, subconscious and superconscious phases of mind. It includes spirit, soul and body.”

Our thoughts, ideas and feelings of yesterday have created the body we have today. We get to create a new body with our conscious mind. Our present lifestyle has also been created out of our beliefs, experiences, thoughts and feelings. The beauty of life is that you can change your thinking and feeling and literally change your life.

John Randolph Price in Spiritual Philosophy for the New World” says, “For the ‘human’ being, consciousness is the pattern through which the Light-Substance-Energy-Intelligence of God flows to create in the physical world that which corresponds to the individual’s dominant vibration.”

We have been made out of God stuff. We are light. Intelligence created us. Any creation of an Infinite Intelligence would have to be intelligent.

Within us there is The Knower that already knows. Another name for this Knower is Infinite Spirit, Infinite Intelligence Source, Universe or God; there are many names. The Knower within (Infinite Intelligence) knows how every successful business became successful. It knows how every soul mate connected with his/her beloved. It knows how every body was knitted together and how it can be repaired or healed. It knows how every singer grew into stardom. The all knowing Knower knows.

Jack Boland used to say, “God has a plan for our lives and that is all we need to know.” The conscious part of the mind feeds the subconscious mind and the subconscious part of the mind is like a robot that goes forward and causes things to appear on the outside of us. The things that appear have been dominant thoughts within our mind. This is what John Price means when he say that the Energy of God flows to create in the physical world that which “corresponds” to the individual’s dominant vibration. We have this wonderful gift to be able to see what we don’t want and create what we do want and it all begins within. Don’t spend any time beating up on yourself for what you have already created. Start now and paint beautiful, loving and peaceful pictures in your mind. Get in touch with how it will “feel” when your desire is manifested. The feeling tone connects with the soul and feeling it draws it to you faster.

Arnold Patent in You Can Have It All teaches about the perfection of the Universe. He says, “Intelligent Infinity is inherently perfect and expresses this perfection through Universal Laws which operate at all levels of phenomena, all dimensions of the created worlds.” It’s my understanding that underlying all the appearances in our worlds there is still perfection. Even when I perceive an event, circumstance or person as less than perfect I know that I am only seeing in part. I must ask for assistance from the Higher Power to see things “differently.”

In A Return To Love, by Marianne Williamson says, “God’s plan works and yours doesn’t.” As stated by the Course, “I need add nothing to His plan. But to receive it, I must be willing not to substitute my own in place of it.” It’s not our job to figure out how to accomplish God’s purposes on earth. That’s not help; it’s interference.

Our work is to stay open and keep our hearts clear of judgment of ourselves or others. Our work is to stay mindful of the loving Presence/Source that constantly breathes us, sustains, maintains, guides and directs us. Our work is to be at peace and maintain joy so that our good can flow to us and flow through us to others. As we do this, divine ideas flow, conditions change, strength is renewed and we prosper. Marianne says, “Our efforts to consciously control the unfolding of good does not produce good so much as it brings forth a slightly less tainted brand of human willfulness.”

Allow Infinite Intelligence to select the details and variables of your life. The Universe specializes in the details of our lives. Patent says, “Our training in struggle and absorbing discomfort on the path to success encourages us to plan our lives in advance. Unfortunately, planning tends to keep us out of the present (the only time that ever exists). Planning also forces us to select only from variables of which we have conscious knowledge. However, there are many variables that, if known we would eagerly select in place of the ones we have chosen.” When Infinite Intelligence prompts you to do something, you feel peaceful. Peace is the barometer. If something doesn’t give you peace, don’t do it. Infinite Intelligence speaks to us through our intuition. Intuition is birthed out of Divine Wisdom. You were born with wisdom pulsating within you.

A practice of prayer and meditation will assist you tapping into the well of wisdom that is already residing in you. Take time each day to acknowledge the Higher Power and ask for It to manifest as absolute good in every area of your life. Move into a space of gratitude. Journal what you are grateful for and constantly dialog with the Divine Invisible. Take a little more time to be still and quiet and write down your thoughts. Keep a little booklet and a pen with you at all times. Once you tap into the well of wisdom, wisdom will speak to you often. Catch the ideas. Too often you think that you will remember and often times it’s difficult to recapture the idea.

New ideas are vital for the mind. New ideas are as vital as food and water for the physical body. Only new ideas, arising in consciousness from the inner fount of Infinite Mind will make certain our pathway in progressive revelation.
