I had intended to modge-podge them on a wall in a small study-meditation room, the artwork and captions are so beautiful. However I am at the point in life where I must scale all possessions down and happened to meet a young person who is so like minded, I gave them to him.

As Mother’s Day approaches I think how very blessed I am to have the love, support and nurturance of many wonderful women besides my mother throughout my lifetime. I’m writing to share even more synchronicity about the April robin’s nest cover. It enhances my belief that things do happen for a reason, and in the right time.

Borders was out of copies when I check in mid-April. In late April, my sister met me at the hospital s moral support during my blood test, doctor visit and chemo. I was very upset about the chemo because my insurance company wouldn’t cover a drug that might alleviate my day-four-after-chemo vomiting. That was my Mom’s 83rd birthday. It was double important because she had elective surgery in October last year, got an infection and almost died. I told my sister that if I couldn’t get the drug, I’d insist on rescheduling.

While we were waiting, she handed me a folded phenomeNEWS. As I opened it, we looked at each other and smiled. For quite a while, I’ve been looking for and talking about a miniature robin’s nest!

It doesn’t end there. In the English comedy I’d watched just the night before, the old caretaker gave the newlyweds the same robin’s nest! He told them it was a symbol of good luck. I took it as my good omen.

As it turned out, the doctor rescheduled my chemo because of my test results. so I was able to celebrate.

Since we had extra time, I mentioned a resale shop I’d heard about. I didn’t know exactly where it was and wished aloud for a phone book. Sure enough as we rounded the corner, there was on in plain sight!

In one of the issues, April or May, one of the authors affirmed how important it is to let others know that they make a difference. I want the phenomeNEWS family and Pam Worthy to know they’ve truly made a wonderful synchronous difference in my life.

Hi Gerri,

Truly enjoyed our talk. I've been retired 20 years and I know I was reading the phenomeNEWS when I was still teaching, so, I must have been reading it almost as long as you folks have been publishing it. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading the phenomeNEWS all these years, but I guess I never gave much thought as to why I enjoyed it so much.

It starts with Cindy and her editorials, which set the stage, so to speak, for all the writers and articles that follow. The editorials are always excellent.

I have the several editions of the phenomeNEWS for 2006, and I just recently reread your articles, and they are the best. You write about the many coincidences in our lives, but the word I was trying to think of while I was there, was synchronicity. Your articles point out the importance of staying open to the so called coincidences in our lives, and being grateful or thankful for the spiritual ability to stay in touch with our deceased loved ones.

I believe the phenomeNEWS presents a spiritual and common sense approach to life in the real world. I don't feel like the many articles are trying to preach to the readers. They present their point of view, and like Sylvia Browne would say, this is what I believe, just keep an open mind, and believe what you want. The following are just a few topics or ideas that have been repeatedly pointed out in the phenomeNEWS and have helped me to make daily adjustments to our incredibly complex world. I don't know that one is more important than another, but:

1. The idea that we should not complain about the adversity in our lives, but instead, we should ask ourselves what we can learn from this. Obviously, this is not going to be easy. However, it is a much more intelligent and useful way to deal with our many problems. This is not how I would normally deal with adversity if I had not read the many articles dealing with this subject in the phenomeNEWS.

2. Be grateful and enjoy what we have, rather than always wanting what we don't have.

3. Try to learn to love, and respect all human beings regardless of race, color, or creed, and try not to judge people, we are all different.

4. We must also learn to love ourselves first, if we are to love and help others.

5. It's important to know and remember that we have a Spirit Guide we can, and should turn to for help in our daily travels. However, we must remain open to our intuition, and be willing to accept the results that follow.

6. Other than the articles, I'm sure that all the advertisements for the many types of doctors, psychics, massage, churches, therapy, types of food, etc., etc., have helped many people over the years.

It would be interesting to know how I would be dealing with daily problems if I had not been reading the phenomeNEWS. I would have to believe, that many days would be a disaster. My philosophy when I get up in the morning, is to try to do my best, and try to treat all people with respect and love. I also dedicate my life to helping others, whenever I am able. This attitude goes a long way toward peace of mind.

I don't pretend to compare my personal motto to: Let Go, and Let God. However, I like:

Do your best, and let it rest.

Hello phenomeNEWS!

  I just received and read the article on November's phenomeNEWS on
 "Animal Communication" authored by Deborah Bogle. Just earlier,
  today, I took my beloved pet/friend "Guru" (Pomeranian Canine) to
 the vet because of some recent seizures and I was very concerned
 about his health. Truly, he is my companion, friend and beloved
 child (you have to be an animal lover to appreciate what I'm saying!)
 Anyway, after reading Deborah's article (p. 35), I immediately
 felt comforted and discovered some meaningful ways in which to
 communicate to my loving pet.

 I salute you, phenomeNEWS, in your courage and progressive thinking.
 Animals are such an important part of our lives and I honor you for
 sharing wisdom from a professional "Animal Communicator" for such an
 immensely invaluable aspect of our society.
