FROM
THE HEART
A Vibrational Alchemist
by Shavi M. Ali
The word “wholeness” means “complete”or
“comprising an entire quantity.” Relative to healing, it can be defined
as “being entirely complete and sound in body, mind, emotions and
spirit.” The human body is a frequency or an electrical current, i.e.,
oscillation per second of waves of magnetic energy. These currents of
energy can be affected by our thoughts, words, feelings and actions –
all of which tend to be predicated on the people around us and our
experiences with them, i.e., life itself. Some persons are highly
sensitive to the energy fields around them and are, therefore, more
affected by their experiences. For example, if such a person has an
occasion to be in the energy space of an angry, boisterous, overbearing
individual, the sensitive person may feel nervousness and anxiety which
settles in the physical cells. Even if the sensitive person reacts
in-kind to the inharmonious situation, the cells still record the
experience. For the moment, the issue may seem to be over, but the
experience can literally cause physical challenges a long time later if
the frequency of the now subconscious memory is not changed.
How can we change the
inharmonies of life that tend to beset each of us sometimes at work, in
the community, in our families, etc.? The technique may seem simple, but
often the most simplistic solutions are the most profound. The answer is
in seeing Divine Energy as our consciousness at all times. Literally
saying each day, “Divine Energy is my consciousness” will cause a higher
vibration to occur which is set in motion whenever we face difficult
situations. However, let’s understand exactly what consciousness means.
Most people would say that it implies an awareness of our surroundings.
Yes, it is this, but also so much more. Consciousness comprises our
attitudes and beliefs and its transformation is the alchemical key to
the door of spiritual elevation and mastery of the forces around us
which includes the people we are involved with and the experiences we
have with them. We are always releasing chemical substances into our
systems and when our consciousness is elevated, we release particular
chemicals that help us to feel joyful and blissful even in the midst of
challenges.
During Hurricane Katrina
in the Gulf region of the United States, a journalist for one of the
news stations reported that he had spoken with several people who were
interestingly very calm after the storm when they saw the devastation of
their homes. He heard statements like, “We have to understand what’s
really important. We have our lives and we can help others to recover
who have lost much much more than just material possessions.” I believe
that these persons were working with a higher vibrational frequency
which allowed them to realize that Spirit can overcome the material
plane. In the Emerald Tablet, the Kemetic (Egyptian) avatar Tehuti, who
was also known as “Thoth” and as “Taht,” stated: “Words are images of
the Mind; the Mind is of God. The Mind is void of suffering when it
realizes its perfection.”
Any thought, when created
by the conscious mind, is transferred to the inner or the subconscious
mind by the quantum field. Then the thought, through a process of
attraction, gathers the energy of substance around it and manifestation
occurs. The word “quantum” means the smallest part of a physical
quantity that can exist independently, i.e., the tiniest entity within a
created substance. In Spiritual Philosophy For A New World, Dr. John
Randolph Price asserts that “Consciousness is cause and everything in
the physical world is an effect of consciousness – individual and
collective.” An ancient Kemetic axiom is “Power flows to the focus of
attention.” Thus, consciousness has creative power which becomes the
“matter” of experience. As alluded to earlier, the seemingly simplistic
declaration of an affirmation is a profound modality.
To begin to activate
harmonious mental frequencies, we can light a white or blue candle
(white is symbolic of purification and blue is symbolic of peace), a
pleasant incense such as rose, amber or sandalwood, be seated in a
comfortable position on the floor or in a chair with the spine straight,
close our eyes and take a deep, slow breath. Now begin to breathe in and
out slowly to the count of four: inhale four counts; exhale four counts.
Hold the breath between each inhalation and exhalation for four counts.
During an inhalation, push out the stomach and abdomen muscles and
during an exhalation, pull them in. This is known as the “yogic breath.”
After a few moments, a wonderful feeling of peace will ensue. Now recite
several times: “Divine Energy is my consciousness.” Purposely envision
the situations in life that are troubling. Place a bright light around
them and recite the affirmation. Trust in the infinite and the
situations will aright themselves because you will have allowed your
vibrational frequency to align with that of the Source of the Universe
which is our immortal Soul nature that is Unalterable Good. Then as you
are out and about in the world on a daily basis, remember to recite the
affirmation regularly. This will brighten your aura, release toxins from
your energy field and elevate your consciousness. You will have become a
“Vibrational Alchemist” and you will create wholeness in body, mind,
emotions and spirit.
