Star Gazing (Astrology)
Here are the Specific indications for the 12 signs
SEPTEMBER 2004
The
Sun in Virgo until the 22nd supports return to routine and practical
arrangements, schedules and details of job, school, sports and required
daily duties. Virgo requires attention to homework, preparation and
analysis. This is the time of year for school and group activities such
as sports, personal enhancement classes, music lessons and
organizational development. Because Mercury is retrograde from August
9th to September 2nd, school schedules and classes which begin during
that time could be disorganized or lack focus and the information
presented is likely to require repetition or clarification after Mercury
goes direct on the 2nd and after the holiday weekend of the 4th-6th. The
Sun in Libra after the 22nd supports contact with others in negotiation,
debates, meetings, arbitration, mediation and any interactive teamwork
such as sports, bands, orchestras, promotion of special interests and
business meetings. By the 29th Jupiter, Mercury and Mars will join the
Sun in Libra, emphasizing the need to work toward balance, peace and
harmony. Relationships require work on the 1st. Cooperation is more
harmonious on the 2nd, 17th and 26th.
Mercury (communications, writing, contracts, commerce) begins the
month retrograde and stations to move direct on the 2nd at 25 degrees
Leo. The windup phase continues from the 2nd thru the 16th, offering the
opportunity to confirm agreements and complete details discussed during
the retrograde. The setup of the retrograde began on July 21st and
Mercury was retrograde from August 9th to September 2nd. During the
setup of a retrograde you become aware of the issue to be worked on
between August 9th and September 2nd. Virgo relates to organization,
order, details, arrangements and analysis. Leo is the sign of talent,
performance, leadership and creative self-expression. The Leo/Virgo
retrograde combination says: make the most of talents thru proper
preparation and using a businesslike approach. In regard to political
candidates it would suggest that the candidates make sure that they have
correct and documented information prior to presenting it in public
debates and speeches.
Venus (values, money, social connections) in Cancer until the 6th
values connection with family, children, residence, real estate and
issues of security such as finances, homeland and politics. Venus in Leo
after the 6th values talents, development of hobbies, luxury and
“taste.” The combination of Venus in Leo with several planets in Libra
creates a season for decorating. Venus in Leo connects socially thru any
activity requiring being in front of others such as sales, performing,
teaching and training. Leo is also the sign of leadership, so we are
certain to see the political candidates attempting to be at their public
strongest and best.
Mars (initiation, energy, aggression) in Virgo until the 26th
supports schedules, arrangements, calendars, details and analysis. Mars
in Libra after the 26th shifts attention to relationships, cooperation,
face-to-face negotiations and using energy in the pursuit of culture and
beauty – art, music, decorating, socializing with friends and grouping
together with associates and peers.
Jupiter (expansion, opportunity, optimism, travel, foreign trade,
education, religion) begins the month at 24 Virgo, completes its transit
of Virgo and enters Libra on the 25th. Most affected are birthdays
September 17th-23rd, March 15th-21st, December 16th-21st and June
15th-21st as well as charts with planets or angles from 24 Virgo to 1
Libra, 24 Sagittarius to 1 Capricorn, 24 Gemini to 1 Cancer and 24
Pisces to 1 Aries. Jupiter has been in Virgo since August 2003, bringing
opportunity thru service and being conservative, prepared, disciplined
and organized. Jupiter in Libra brings opportunity thru cooperation,
mediation, arbitration and fairness to achieve win-win outcomes. Ruled
by Venus, Libra brings a renewed interest in art, music, culture,
beauty, romance and relationships. Attention to these helps nurture
ourselves and others.
Saturn (structure, foundation, responsibility) transits 23-25
degrees Cancer where it repeats in December 2004 and in January, May and
June of 2005. Saturn entered Cancer for the first time in 29.6 years in
June, 2003 and will stay in Cancer until July 2005, bringing
restructuring, career shifts and changes in responsibility to Cancerians.
Saturn in Cancer also brings up issues of security, new families, real
estate, consolidation of family resources and challenges in food
service, building, family, care-taking and mortgage industries. In the
larger sense of family, Saturn in Cancer supports pride in one’s country
and creation of political, religious, philosophical and spiritual
families. This month’s transits affect those born July 15th-18th, April
13th-15th, October 16th-19th and January 13th-16th as well as charts
with planets or angles from 23 to 25 degrees Cancer, Capricorn, Aries
and Libra. Saturn’s cycle repeats every 29.6 years, so it is helpful to
review what was happening about 30 years ago, during the half-cycle of
14-15 years when Saturn was in Capricorn, the quarter cycle of 7 years
in Aries and 21 years for the third quarter cycle in Libra.
Uranus (freedom, rebellion, surprise, invention technology)
entered Pisces in March 2003, moved back into Aquarius in September 2003
and then re-entered Pisces on December 30th 2003 to stay for 7 years.
This month it retrogrades from 4 to 3 degrees, repeating its position in
March and where it will be in December and in January 2005. In the last
cycle of Uranus in Pisces, 1920, the US Congress gave women the right to
vote. Those whose birthdays are February 22nd-23rd, August 26th-27th,
May 24th-25th and November 25th-26th will experience chaos, need freedom
or make radical changes at these times as well as charts with planets or
angles at 3 or 4 degrees Pisces, Virgo, Sag or Gemini. Uranus in Pisces
supports social revolution. It combines artistic creativity with
innovation and intellect with feminine sensitivity, leading to modern
ways of helping those in need and suggesting that the only way that
humanity will survive is by supporting and caring for each other and
doing what is best for society and global issues, not just individuals
and special interest groups.
Neptune (sensitivity, inspiration, escapism, dreams, trust)
retrogrades 13 to 12 degrees Aquarius where it was in February 2004 and
repeats in November and December 2004. Neptune relates to intangibles
such as imagination, inspiration and art as well as escapism and the
process of healing. During the retrograde of Neptune (May thru October
2004) is a good time to let go of addictive behaviors, habits or
attitudes. Birthdays most affected are February 1st-2nd, August 5th-6th,
November 4th-5th and May 3rd-4th as well as charts with planets or
angles at 12 to 13 degrees Aquarius, Leo, Taurus or Scorpio. Neptune
transits can bring lack of focus or direction, a sense of drifting or
the inability to see a betrayal, weakness, disappointment or error until
it’s too late. On the positive side it can be a time of artistic,
musical or creative development, faith, trust or psychic insights. Under
this transit you can develop artistic or musical talents, practice
meditation, follow intuition and inner guidance, watch your back and
balance faith with fact to see events clearly, not with wishful thinking
or remaining attached to the dream or vision of what might have been.
Pluto (power, control, resources, transformation) transits at 19
degrees Sagittarius repeating the degrees it transited in February,
April and December 2003 and August of 2004. Pluto will not repeat 19
degrees. Most affected are birthdays of December 11th, June 10th, March
9th-10th and September 12th as well as charts with planets or angles
around 19 degrees Virgo, Sagittarius, Gemini and Pisces. Between
February of 2003 and September 2004 they will go through major changes
in life such as career, marriage, divorce, financial problems,
relocation or questioning of beliefs. During these times counseling may
be required and self-awareness and motivational workshops would be
enlightening and are recommended. Pluto has reached the 20th degree and
is two-thirds of the way thru the sign of Sagittarius bringing
transformation and paradigm shifts in education, travel, religion,
politics and global trade.
